Thegameveda cannot stress enough how much Onlive changes the gaming world , with instant gaming on any device that can handle onlive , from my 7 inch Toshiba Libretto to my multi screen desktop gaming pc , or even the TV , the traditional haunt of our consoles .
This is the PC gamers Revolution in full force . The console dominance of the last 2 decades is waning , whilst tablets, phones and our pcs and macs are thriving. The monopoly of console manufactures is shattered.
Even amongst all these evolutionary changes onlive stands out . That is because Onlive is set to do what no other PC game delivery device has managed by placing a machine that costs you nothing in the place your current ageing and prone to die without notice , or heat up under stress gaming console ,PS3 or 360 sits : Under your main TV -
Think how revolutionary this is , iOS tablet and phone gaming has killed the handheld Sony and Nintendo monopoly but you still put your iphone , ipad or Android device down when you sit in front of your tv to play your core game . With Onlive we have better than console gaming , and at a fraction of the cost , taking the place of your conked out or about to , console .

As I said this is revolutionary in so many ways , no more scratched disks , no more people complaining about complex pc installs , no freaking console bricking updates from Sony or Microsoft . And it does not matter whose hardware you use!
Just take a look at all the stuff you get with Deus Ex Human Revolution ...
Steam started the PC gaming revolution , ( thanks Gabe) , but the likes of Onlive take it to a new level , and now we can see AAA launches that are so more worth the lack of hassle that cloud based gaming brings to the table , i.e 0 install , no downloads , the ability to play high spec games irrelevant of hardware , and absolutely under no circumstance will you ever have incompatibility problems or be forced to hack together an autoexec.cfg file like millions of Crysis 2 fans have had to on PC . Imagine if Crysis 2 had led on onlive , there would be no compatibility problems , it would be working on day 1 , your hardware does not matter as the game is working on a server all the problems which dog the game to date would be non existent. .. I will be playing Deus Ex Revolution on a dual 7 inch ULV tablet PC , faster than most people will be on their l33t rigs (including mine) just like I can with Assassins Creed Brotherhood , and errrh Duke Nukem ....
There is even talk of AAA games leading on onlive ....
If anything this Christmas Onlive may take the PC gaming crown away from Steam , and dent the now dated and burnt out ( as LA NOIRE shows ) console scene.
If only they could get a move on and get it rolled out to the UK , currently Onlive usage is the best reason to move to the USA or Canada ....!
Onlive is the future , a future where the PS4 and Xbox Infinity will not be physical consoles at all , they will be streaming services , with games sent to your tv ,phone ,tablet , something which onlive is doing right here right now ....
