Windows 8 Customer Preview performance on i7 Lenovo X220T vs Atom powered joojoo

How does Windows 8 customer preview performance compare on the Atom powered Joojoo with it's Intel Atom N270 , NVidia Ion GPU , 3gb DDR 3 and a Lenovo X220T with it's 2nd gen i7 Intel HD3000 4gb DDR 3 ? Well check out the video below ,

For me Windows 8 shines on the 12.1 inch 16:10  screened joojoo tablet , even more so than the more powerful Lenovo X220T .  In a few months what I want to see is an Ivy Bridge dedicated GPU expandable dual ssd usb3 tablet running Windows 8 , till then there is plenty of life in the old joojoo , and it plays all my GOG game collection …speaking of which after typing this entry  I am off to play some Sanitarium on the lightest fastest Windows 8 tablet to date .... whilst waiting for the iPad 3 announcement

Windows 8 seems to be the most optimized OS yet released , whilst we typically expect to and are expected by the likes of Microsoft and Apple to upgrade hardware each time a new OS comes out , with Windows 8 things have changed , that`s a 2 year old Atom powered tablet running Windows 8 at comparable speed to a 2nd gen i7 powered X220T ,  so your little netbook ( as long as it has at least a 1366 768 res) is going to be fine , and you will be holding a tablet equivalent not too long after summer .... This is going to be a boon for hardware manufacturers suffering with the temporary domination of the tablet market by Apple .

The geek centric Android was never going to dent the casual orientated iOS  revolution , but a full OS like Windows 8 which will run on every desktop ,laptop , tablet from Atom to Ivy Bridge will be a different story altogether . Every new PC ,laptop , tablet , netbook will launch with Windows 8 very soon , and that point our new iPad 3s will be pulling a lot of desktop streaming duty … and Apple owners will used to purchasing Apps from iTunes will have been fully trained to purchase them from the Windows 8 App and on their dual booting Apple Mac Airs Pros etc …
