Our iPad and Android iPad wanabees are tablets . You can type with limited effect on your tummy warmer of choice but you will be reaching for the bluetooth keyboard before too long . Which rather defeats the point of a tablet...touch and freedom from legacy input devices like your keyboard . Handy then that Windows 8 is not just a tablet OS it is a Slate OS , and the easiest demo of this is when you tap that handwriting icon on the onscreen keyboard and scribble your blog entry .... one finger is all it takes! And having 2 browsers open so you can cut and paste whilst you scribble your blog post ...is a breeze for even an atom powered Windows 8 tablet like the joojoo try doing the following on the 3rd gen iPad ( which was relegated to filming duties for this blog post) ,flash , java ,html5 it's all good to go ...Plus no more playing thumb hockey across your tablet screen , just scribble like putting chalk to .... a slate :
