N.O.V.A. 3 - Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance - Gameloft is here and it maketh your new iPad run hot , t'is a dry heat though and as core gamers know burning heat is a sign that someone is finally pushing your expensive hardware … commonly known as your e-Penis or in this case your iPenis… Yes all gaming hardware is Masculine for some reason... well maybe not the Wii... Anyhoo when a game looks this good on a tablet and you can manage to control it with the gyro or thumb without going into settings , and costs a ridiculous $6.99 it is time to wake up as my friends below can tell you :
The 3rd NOVA game is a leap up from the earlier two and not just graphically , the gyro control is amazingly well tuned , and when you play you get that I wish Sony had put a larger screen on the PS Vita feeling/warm glow ( literally as the Al back heats up) you know your $6.99 was well spent … and it begins to justify the $800 or so that you forked out for the new iPad and bits and bobs that keep it shiny.... although some heat protection may be a savvy purchase somewhere down the line to avoid new iPad burn....

Looking at the engine in this game , there is no reason why Crytek could not stop dallying in puzzle games for tablets and make a decent Crysis , or Crysis 2 off shoot. There is also no reason why Call of Duty or Battlefield games cannot run on this device and look not too far off their Console ports …
