Ninja Gaiden 3 Collectors Edition is 2 days away from release , and the game itself is already polarising reviewers . Is it too easy ? Is the story line daft enough ? And of course the burning question of the moment does it retain the physics modeling of female attributes the series is famously famous for , and is PlayStation Move or Kinect involved with any or all of this nonsense ...
Of course if you are a Ninja Gaiden fan you just bought a PS Vita to play the excellent Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus , and have already thrown your money down for NG3 .The harsh truth of today's gaming industry is that you have to cater for the casuals as well as the core or you will not succeed , but don't tell that to millions of Demon Souls and Dark Souls fans!
If you are panicking about this game being too easy , console yourself by using the highest difficulty setting on your old Ninja Gaiden 2 or Sigma for now , but do not worry Team Ninja is known for updating and tweaking their games , expect a Ninja Gaiden 3 Tau Plus version before the first Autumn maple leaves start hitting Kyoto temple floors , for our consoles and our handhelds . For collectors this a pretty fine edition and as you would expect sold out every where except here. Reviewers? What do they know ? If enough casuals give NG3 a go , that keeps Team Ninja going and in the long term that will serve core gamers better than a super hard NG3 that only I and a small clan of elite Ninja gamers can complete or enjoy even on the easiest setting, plus for us core people there are always the bouncy delights of the Dead or Alive 5 demo , right time to get jiggy , or should that be jiggly with it ? Note to Tecmo you do know the possibilities of including Move and Kinect control are many and fortuitous ?
