Today is day one of the open Beta for Hawken, after a few teething problems ,I was into my first match and here is the experience recorded with FRAPS. Like the finest of PC on line FPS games and I mean Battlefield 2 ,there is a beautiful ebb and flow to the combat as you can see from the to and fro of the score line during the match :
Apart from the shock of everyone running around in tv set mechs this is a great start, faster ,smoother and looking more professional than the Betas.
