The death of retail by Steam has been greatly exaggerated....all of these games can be either lived without or found cheaper on retail , alternative download sites , and consoles!
The only real true standout and this is if you are a Raven Software fan is Singularity for 50% still far cheaper than present retail prices .And because I love Raven , this is mine I tell you ......
Don't buys are:
1.The Elder Scrolls game is better purchased through the Bethesda complete pack
2.Star Trek Online - is much cheaper on retail
and game download from Amazon compare below , and you still get unlimited downloads , without Steam , so consider the needs of the few and avoid adding another 17gb download to the queue

Fillers that you can live without for at least now :
1.Transformers , great game for the console generation , but really you want to get it retail so you can trade it in later for something you really want , which of course you will not be able to do with the pc version retail or Steam , so Autobots sorry ...
2.Europa Universalis III complete and Grand Ages of Rome are , venerated Strategy series , you can live without or find cheaper on retail or as part of a pack ...
3.Hegemony Philip of Macedon ..he`s no Alexander and am I bothered about this or Shattered?
So an 11 th Day where Retail smashes the Steam Invincibility myth , and not so long ago all us tortured oracles were sooth saying the end of traditional retail .Traditional retail price undercutting Steam , with Steam compatible games , and iTunes and Android with 500000 apps and counting proves the old adage if you cannot beat them join them .....and then beat them .Come on Gabe pull yer finger out of the Valve and let Steam rip......
