Playing through the first level of Red Orchestra 2 using Windows 8 on the Lenovo X220T

Today I received my Red Orchestra 2 , Tripwire`s sequel to that Unreal mod many of us have been playing for three years ( yeah stick that in your console paid for dlc download pipe and....) ok sorry been at the Apple juice again

Red Orchestra 2 being a Steam game gives me a chance to further test gaming on the Windows 8 developer preview , Crysis 2 flew on it , so much so that I played it whilst playing onlive games . Red Orchestra 2 requires thought and lots of dying remember this as you see me play through  the first level using the hero difficulty setting on a Lenovo X220T tablet PC . The X220T`s  Intel HD3000 and i7 CPU with 4GB DDR3 run the game fine at medium settings from a Runcore msata ssd as you can see .

Red Orchestra 2 is currently priced around £14 at Zavvi and Game , and if you are at all into FPS on the PC , or a WW2 aficianodo you need to play this game . Consider this is about the cost or less than the cost of most DLC these days . And console fans you now have another reason to get into PC gaming .

I love that a small company like Tripwire can take what was a mod , through Steam sales create a fan base that plays one game for 3 years , and then brings out an improved sequel using the 3 years of prior gameplay as feedback to actually give fans what they want .
