On the 13th of December 2011 , millions of voices were suddenly silenced , as a galaxy of fans waited for an email granting early access to the game of the decade for PC fans , and a few out of work Ewoks looking to make a fast buck at game launches ..on the phone in despair to their agents... instead of helping our Bioware heroes taking down the shield holding back millions of fans from early access to the game....as nothing happened and Bioware sent out waves and explained in the best tradition of Episode I how a trade delegation embargo resulted in a normal distribution of preorder registrations being skewed to the left and that the following day many more emails would be sent out to the more normally distributed and widely spread out in date of registration terms expectant masses .. See Trade Federation bureaucracy at its finest .. throw in a couple of jedi and Naboo and you could have the opening of Episode VII ( please don`t hurt them Mr Lucas) .


It seems the Jawas had sold the docs at Bioware a few dodgy protocol droids , the kind of computer that likes to say no , but now all is well as you too will have the above in your email ... so see you out there , all in all this is still the smoothest launch of a PC game in my memory , we usually wait up to 6 months for games to start working , here we are playing one as large as this days in advance of it`s official release , and at silly resolutions and detail levels from Intel gma to 5120 by 1600 ..  Now all we have to do is work out the best sub option , will it last 6 months and then drop in subs and price , will it go f2play in 12 months? And how long will it actually take to play through the story lines, or hold our interest as a sandbox full of all those wonderful Star Wars virtual Toys....
