joojoo strikes back : begun this Slate War has

After the tsunami of  blogosphere hate for the joojoo from totally unbiased sites reviewing reviews of first looks of none reviews of  its User Interface [I kid you not] , Fusion Garages Flash weilding Apple iPad humiliating  Web slate [size matters],  is striking back .Across the web something is stirring.


Real people  , real owners are now spreading the word re joojoo , not millions of dollars of customer subsidised marketing muscle  that keeps our iPads free of Flash and closed tighter than an insects ...


So anyway ,lets get educated as Steve would say to an EU citizen complaining about the price of an iPad, here are some of the latest videos with people showing you stuff you will never do on another existing slate at this time , and we will compare them with the pro blogs as we go:


First check out the multitasking joojoo with nVidia Ion playing full screen video as a background wall paper as a joojoo owner surfs accross the top of it ! now how come none of the great Tech Blogs managed to show us something like this in a professional review or preview ?

but the interesting fact is on the launch day of the Apple iPad , uber tech blog Endgadget did not show us any of this , and surprise surprise was swamped with anti joojoo comments all of which managed to mention its rival , and uber blog Techcrunch, comments by people none of whom had actually touched a joojoo . 


Now features like multitasking are bleeding obvious sell points that none of the official tech blog reviews have demonstrated , check their review of the interface - I mean these great professional tech blog review lords who can acquire and  take apart an iPhone 4g without blinking and write a full blown expose post it and have several thousand comments in a few moments , somehow did not manage to run a video and show how you can surf the web and multitask without any problems on the joojoo , like the joojoo owner above has done?


and here is the  interface review or is that preview  : but left out cool  functionality like the guys above show , well he does say that the iPad is out that day!

The reality is joojoo is sound hardware that outshines the iPad in  many ways , all of  which the user base itself will have to expose , as we can clearly not rely on biased tech blogs . 


joojoo is  a work in progress by 14 people , and its a damn fine first attempt ,  the real fear of this device is that if 14 people can produce this , imagine what they could do with similar resources in money and people  to more established companies , imagine what Notion Ink and the others will do to Apples share in the Slate form factor?  Head on over to the largely US tech blogs that initially reviewed the joojoo , and you will still find hordes of the  Apple fearful  commenting away ,none of whom have actually touched a joojoo yet . Many of whom have yet to surf the web on iPad safari and face their first this cannot be viewed without flash message . 


There`s a guy in those videos having fun with his joojoo , not having to download or pay for a single app , clearly the thing works , but if we the public want competition then we have to support the competition - and this is just the beginning of the War of the Slates:


All joojoo is good joojoo : The blogosphere attacks on the joojoo have generated significant  web chatter on the joojoo  , across the likes of twitter , and facebook 


The launch of the joojoo , fellow Spartans, may be the computer industries first Thermopole moment for a generation .In years to come people will remember that a small group of 14 stood up to the ire of an entire techno empire and its arrny of  1000s  of bloggers ,and sycophantic media throwing every insult at them ,resisting temptations from false oracles [and their lawyers!] and bringing their product to market . And if this is madness to the big boys , this after all  is SPARTA !!!!!!!


The real dangers to the  leviathans that seek monopolies do not stem from the competition they face from worldwide hardware and software designers who increasingly outnumber and outperform them , its from the attempted lack of competition and dependency on closed systems to generate revenue that they have managed to inadvertently lock their share holders into through a doomed attempt  to impose restrictions on every part of computer use . 


Thus just the idea of the joojoo flying in the face of this trend is enough to give hope to anyone who wishes the web and computer industry well


so lets have another preview of the joojoo cloud tablet accelerating your use of the web and displaying 100% of the web as it should be : NOTE this is from an EU previewer who actually manages to use the joojoo , or is that bothers to use the joojoo cf the Endgadget prevew above  

so now tell me that is not a beautiful way to surf and use the cloud , and the cloud ,people is the future not app enslavement  , and the arrival of open browser os devices such as the joojoo accelerating and enhancing cloud computing will sound the death knell for the "app" store just as the mp3 did for the record/cd store , it also allows  app developers to free themselves and  start moving towards the cloud asap and they do not have to pay anyone for the privilege - who wants to use a $10  gimped text editor on a 9.7 inch screen when you can use Google Docs FREE on a HD 12.1 inch screen with a massive movable keyboard? Why be enslaved to itunes when you can use Spotify , etc etc 

You see Apple have won  the first battle in the Slate war , through marketing  and having the most respected tech wizard genius of this generation as its CEO , hats off to Mr Jobs.

But the War is far from being won , and Apple relies too much on the app store , in the short term this will be great , but Fusion Garages joojoo , whatever its imperfections is the first of a legion of competitors offering more freedom , better tech , most importantly CHOICE to the average consumer  and respect to the tech enthusiast. 

Wow I managed to talk about the iPad for a paragraph without mentioning it doesn't do Flash ...doh!

Why people fear the joojoo:



The greatest advantage of joojoo is it FREES bother developers and users from the humiliation of coding and buying and syncing  Apps , in real world computing you don't need an App for anything , because you can do anything you want from the internet and the cloud which is the futurewould you rather use Google Docs on a 12.1 touch screen with movable keyboard  FREE or would you rather pay $10 to use a gimped text editor on  a 9.7 inch screen , would you rather use Facebook and Twitter full screen  or download an app for that ,including Flash games becuase there is no app for that  . As a developer do you want to be chained to one coding method and be charged for the privilege and seek approval every time you publish or would you rather just code in what ever language you want and publish to the cloud as you have always done. Do you want to surf the internet 100 % as it was intended and have your use of it accelerated and enhanced , and do you want to all of these things at once through multitasking whilst your favourite music video is playing as the background wall paper ?

BECAUSE the Fusion Garage  joojoo is the App for that !
